Judaism provides us with guidance and ritual for every aspect of family life----including Divorce.

Over 40% of today’s Jewish marriages end in divorce.

Family, friends, synagogues, schools, camps, workplaces, social organizations--the list goes on..
Divorce affects every Jew from every branch of Judaism

For many, divorce can be uncomfortable, often considered to be a "Shonda" (shame).

As a community, it is time to create an open forum

Family members, friends, staff at Jewish organizations, all have the goal to be supportive

Addressing the needs of divorced families at the highest level possible is a necessity

Divorce Through a Jewish Lens strives to create a space to discuss how we can best support

our families experiencing this challenging life transition.

We do hope you will join this conversation
